Burst Labs is very innovative and really give a whole new spin to the music experience. They are actually music producers, thus, its easy to manage.
On the end-user perspective, it's fun to navigate, but still requires lots of manual effort. Many music discovery social networking sites are trying to integrate such a feature, but the downside is the heavy-dependency on concise and relevant tags on millions of songs, which is lacking. Not to even mention a good algorithm for it. All in all, it's a very young idea that needs lots of polishing to make it work well.
If someone can kick this to the masses, they'll do very well, which we are aiming to do in the future. ;)
